Free Radical Damage

Free radicals are toxic chemicals produced in the body that can damage the cellular machinery and contribute significantly to aging and disease.

The skin is particularly prone to free radical damage due to exposure to the environment – solar radiation, smoking, and pollution can quickly increase the levels of free radicals in the skin.

The skin has numerous antioxidant defense mechanisms to fight free radical damage, but the most important and most powerful of these is a protein known as glutathione. Nutraplex2C™ was designed to increase levels of glutathione, providing superior antioxidant protection.
